Bell times
At Berinba, our school day follows a clear and consistent structure designed to support calm routines, focused learning and smooth transitions. Each day includes dedicated learning sessions, purposeful break times and opportunities for students to connect, play and recharge. When students and families understand our bell times, it helps everyone make the most of each part of the day and sets students up for success in their learning.
It's important for students to arrive on time each day. If your child is running late, please contact our front office.
Our bell times
Children are cautioned against arriving at school before 8.35am or loitering after 3.20pm outside which times no teachers are on supervision duty. Playground supervision during recess, lunch and afternoon bus lines is undertaken by teachers on a roster basis. Eating lunch supervision is provided to ensure all pupils have sufficient opportunity to eat their lunches properly.
Fruit break
All students and staff participate in a fruit and water break at approximately 10:00 am each day. Students are required to bring a water bottle and a piece of fresh fruit or vegetables to school each day to keep the body and brain hydrated and fuelled in support of optimal learning conditions.
