There is always something to celebrate at Berinba Public School

From whole-school events to moments of pride in our classrooms, and all the little everyday wins in between, our community is filled with joy, achievement and connection. Here are just some of the highlights that make Berinba such a special place to learn and grow.

Book Week

Book Week is always a magical time at Berinba, and this year was no exception. Our classrooms came alive with stories, imagination and creativity as students explored new worlds through books. Throughout the week, our learners shared their favourite stories, connected with characters, and celebrated the joy of reading in ways that were fun, vibrant and meaningful.

From buddy reading and classroom activities to dress-ups and themed experiences, Book Week reminded us of the power of storytelling to spark curiosity and bring our community together. It was wonderful to see our students’ confidence grow as they talked about the books they love and discovered new ones along the way.

ANZAC DAY

At Berinba, ANZAC Day is a special time for our school community to come together in remembrance and gratitude. We honour the courage, service and sacrifice of the men and women who have served and continue to serve in the Australian and New Zealand Defence Forces.

Our students learn that ANZAC Day is not only about history, but about the values we hold close at Berinba: compassion, courage, resilience and looking out for one another. Through stories, reflection and ceremony, we help our students understand the importance of respect and remembrance in shaping the world we live in today.

As a school, we are proud to stand together to acknowledge the spirit of the ANZACs and the legacy they leave for future generations.

School Spectacular

Each year, our Berinba performers take to the stage at the School Spectacular, one of NSW’s most exciting celebrations of public school talent. Our students shine with confidence, creativity and teamwork as they represent our school with pride.

From rehearsals to the final performance, our performers show dedication, courage and a genuine love of the arts. They support one another, work hard to perfect their routines and embrace every moment of this unforgettable experience.
